config time
Purpose
Used to configure the clock on the switch.
Syntax
config time <date ddmthyyyy> <time
hh:mm:ss>
Description
This command will set the time on the
switch.
Parameters
<date ddmthyyyy> - the date as day, month
and year, no spaces
<time hh:mm:ss> - the time as hours,
minutes and seconds, separated by colons.
Restrictions
Administrator privileges are needed to
issue this command.
Example Usage:
To set the time on the switch:
DGS-3224SR:4#config time 10oct2003 16:21:30
Command: config time 10oct2003 16:21:30
Success.
DGS-3224SR:4#
