config box_type
BOX_NOTEXIST]
Description
This command will pre-assign the box type
of switches in a stack.
Parameters
current_box_id – identifies the switch being
configured. Range is 1-12.
DGS-3224SR –
DES-3352SR –
BOX_NOTEXIST – identifies a switch which
may be added to the stack in future. A
box_type may be assigned to this box, in
effect to pre-configure it as it is added to
the stack. If box_type is not assigned, box
is identified as BOX_NOTEXIST and box
type will be identified automatically.
Restrictions
Administrator privileges are needed to
issue this command.
Usage Example:
To configure box type:
DGS-3224SR:4#config box_type current_box_id 3 type
BOX_NOTEXIST
Command: config box_type current_box_id 3 type
BOX_NOTEXIST
Success.
