config scheduling_mechanism
Purpose
Used to configure the traffic scheduling
mechanism for each COS queue.
Syntax
config scheduling_mechanism [strict(1)|
weight_fair(2)]
Description
This command is use to specify how the
switch handles packets in priority queues.
Parameters
strict − The highest queue is the first to
process traffic. That is, the highest queue
should be finished at first.
weight_fair − Ue the weight fair algorithm to
handle packets in priority queues.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
To configure the traffic scheduling mechanism for each
COS queue:
DGS-3224SR:4#config scheduling_mechanism strict
Command: config scheduling_mechanism strict
Success.
