Also located on the front panel of the Switch is a pinhole that can be pressed and held for 5 seconds to perform a hardware factory reset on the Switch after which the Switch will reboot.

    DGS-3000 Series Gigabit Ethernet Switch Hardware Installation Guide Rear Panel Components The rear panel of switches in this series features an AC power socket, power cord clip hole, a DC power RPS port with an ON/OFF toggle switch, a security lock, and an electrical grounding point. The DC power RPS port can be used to either supply power to the Switch from a DC power supply or from an RPS.

    Connecting the RPS to the RPS Port The D-Link RPS can be connected to the RPS port of the Switch using the DC power supply cord, called the DPS- CB150-2PS (HW: B1). It is important to notice that the RPS can supply power to one or two DGS-3000 Switches at the same time.
