DGS-3224SR Stackable Gigabit Ethernet Switch User's Guide
config ports
Purpose
Used to configure the switch's Ethernet port
settings.
config ports [<portlist|all>] {speed(11)
Syntax
[auto(1)|10_half(2)|10_full(3)|100_half(4)|
100_full(8) [master(81) | slave(82)| 1000_full]
flow_control [enabled|disabled]
learning [enabled|disabled]
state [enabled|disabled]}
Description
This command allows for the configuration of
the switch's Ethernet ports. Only the ports
listed in the <portlist> will be effected.
Parameters
all − Displays all ports on the switch.
<portlist>
configured. The port list is specified by listing
the beginning port number and the highest port
number of the range.
The DGS3224SR is a stackable switch and each
port is designated as belonging to a particular
switch in the stack. For example, port 2 in
switch 5 in a stack is listed as 2-5. A range of
ports would be shown as 2-5, 3-6 (port 3 in
switch 6), with the beginning and the end of the
range of switches separated by a comma.
auto − Enables auto-negotiation for the specified
range of ports.
[10|100|1000] − Configures the speed in Mbps
for the specified range of ports. Gigabit ports are
