Rotate the open handles 90 degrees counter-clockwise to release the

latches.

Pull the top of the cover several inches toward you, while supporting

it so that it does not fall.

Remove the cover by lifting it straight up to free it from the two

hinge brackets located at the bottom of the shelf.
