Example Run

You can use your HPLC system to set up conditions
for monitoring pyrene. You know that you can
detect a pyrene peak at 254 nm, but you want to
look for other absorbance maxima between 210 nm
and 340 nm.
To monitor one wavelength at one sensitivity and
scan between two wavelengths, connect output
channels 1 and 3 to your recorder.
Start detector
If necessary, start the detector as described on page
3-12.
Choose mode
If the following display is not shown, press Mode at
the first display of the current detection mode, and
then press Scan.
