Set lamp hours
After a new lamp is installed, and only at that
time, set the visible lamp hours to 0 (zero).
To set the lamp hours for the 156 Detector, refer to
the user's guide for the Gilson control software. The
controlling software should include a command
that sets the lamp hours to 0. Or, the software
should allow you to send a GSIOC command to
reset the lamp hours. See
of GSIOC commands.
To reset the lamp hours via the front panel of a 155
Detector:
1 At the display, press Mode. You'll see:
2 Press Status to access status mode.
3 Press Next until you see:
4 Press NewVis to set the lamp hours to 0.
5 Press ESC to exit status mode.
