(Optional) set lamp alarm
The detector will flash the error and lamp status
indicators when the lamp has been in use for a
number of hours that exceeds the setting for the
lamp alarm. Do not turn the lamps off. Reset the
lamp alarm.
To set the lamp alarm for the 156 Detector, refer to
the user's guide for the Gilson control software. The
software should include a command that sets the
lamp alarm. Or, the software should allow you to
send a GSIOC command to set the lamp alarm. See
Appendix D
for a listing of GSIOC commands.
To set the lamp alarm via the front panel of a 155
Detector:

Press Mode.

Press Setup to access setup mode.

Press Next until you see:

Press ENTER to move the highlight to the Set
Vis lamp alarm parameter.

To enable the lamp alarm feature, type a
number from 1 to 9999 and press ENTER.
To disable the lamp alarm feature, type 0 and
press ENTER.

Press ESC to exit setup mode.
