h. ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLY
1) Tighten the two stud bolts on the stator.
2) Apply grease to the outer surface of a new front bearing.
Drive the front bearing into the stator using the special
tools as shown.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 37 x 40 mm
Pilot, 15 mm
3) Install the retainer plate with the projections toward the
front bearing and tighten it with the four screws.
