20. Remove the metal seal protectors (1) from the
shafts (2) on the output side of the gearbox.
21. Remove the oil seals (1) from the output shafts
using a seal puller. Note the seals will have to be
replaced.
22. Remove the snap rings (1) from the shafts.
23. Be sure to keep track of the shim (1) count and
orientation used.
