CQ 21 Streaks Probable Cause Corrective Action

Make a copy and perform the lmage on

Corotrons are contaminated or defective. Drum (Panic Stop) procedure
in
Section
6
to isolate the cause of the defect.
If the defect is on the developed image on
the photoreceptor drum, replace the
charge corotron (PI. 9.1 B).
If the defect i s not on the photoreceptor
drum, but i t is on the media, replace the
transfer corotron (PL 8.3).
Perform the Electrostatic Series (ADJ 9.2).
Check that the line darkness i s in
specification, adjust the lmage Density
(AOJ9.3 or 9.4), i f required.

The light leaks because the covers are 12. Ensure that the covers are not damaged
