Xerox DocuColor 40/30 Family Digital Color Production System
COPY VOLUME RANGE
– The DocuColor 40/30 Family is designed to be a
production system. Initial volume should be limited to
100,000 pages per month for the DocuColor 40 and
80,000 pages per month of the DocuColor 30 until
sufficient customer experience shows that higher
volumes are feasible. Pages are defined as a
combination of prints and copies. Monthly volumes in
excess of specified pages may result in increased service
frequency and reduced uptime (see chart below).

    The edit pad cannot be mounted on the platen cover. The accuracy of the Edit Pen is within .5mm or less. For customers who are familiar with previous Xerox color product edit capabilities, Merge Image and Marker Edit are not available on the DocuColor 40/30 Edit Pad.

Copies made from the DocuColor 40/30 will be offset per job and stacked. 2) Prints made from a digital front end can be stapled per set and stacked, or stacked and offset without stapling.

The HCF 2500 paper feed vacuum motor can be run in one of two modes, which is chosen at the time of install.

    The toner yield projections are based on 15% area coverage per color (4 colors = 60%) at standardized conditions on 8.5x11” Xerox Color Xpressions 24 lb. reference paper. Note that actual yields vary greatly depending on color intensity, area coverage, paper stock, and run mode selected.
