Document Handler

GO
to FLAG 1 and check the wires for an
open circuit.
This RAP is used t o locate problems i n the
(f the problem still exists, replace the LVPSl
interlock circuitry for the Document Handler.
Driver PWB (AZ).
The problem may occur i f there is a
malfunction i n the Document Handler
lnterlock Switch 530 or the associated wires.
NOTE: The component locator drawings and
the circuit diagram are on the following
pages.
Initial Actions
Check the Connectors A2 P201 on the
LVPSl Driver PWB (A2) and 530 PI on
the Document Handler lnterlock
Switch for damage, and ensure that
the connectors are seated correctly.
Ensure that the Actuator on the
Document Handler correctly actuates
the switch, and that the End Caps are
not damaged.
Procedure
Disconnect
530
PI. Set the DMM to read
continuity. Connect the (
+
) lead t o Pin 4 of
the Document Handler lnterlock Switch
(S30).
Connect
the
(-)
lead
to pin 3.
Manually actuate the switch.
The Switch has continuity.

Switch
(S30).
