• Simple Network Management – Use the drop-down list to select Enabled
or Disabled.
• The Read Community String and Write Community String fields can be
any combination of characters and a length of 0 to 20 characters.
o Read Community String factory default is "public".
o Write Community String factory default is "private".
• SNMP Contact – Enter the contact data.
• SNMP Name – Enter the name.
• SNMP Location – Enter the location.
• Enable Authentication Trap – Use the drop-down list to select Enabled or
Disabled.
• The Administrator can assign up to two SNMP Trap IP Addresses.
• Trap Version – Use the drop-down list to select the version.
• The Trap Community String field can be any combination of characters
and a length of 0 to 20 characters. The factory default for the SNMP Trap
Community String is "comtech".
Click [Reset] to restore the previously saved settings.
Click [Submit SNMP] to save any changes.
