DISPlay subsystem

The display subsystem controls the display of the SourceMeter and is summarized in
Table
18-2.

Description
This command is used to set the display resolution. Note that you can
instead use rational numbers. For example, to select 4.5 digit resolution,
you can send a parameter value of 4.5 (instead of 5). The SourceMeter
rounds the rational number to an integer.

Description
This command is used to enable and disable the front panel display cir-
cuitry. When disabled, the instrument operates at a higher speed. While
disabled, the display is frozen with the following message:
FRONT PANEL DISABLED
Press LOCAL to resume.
As reported by the message, all front panel controls (except LOCAL
and OUTPUT OFF) are disabled. Normal display operation can be
resumed by using the :ENABle command to enable the display or by
putting the SourceMeter into local.
