Pivot Bearing Replacement; Right Pivot Bearing - Honda VTR1000F Service Manual

Remove the screws and brake hose clamps if neces-
sary.
Remove the pivot collars and dust seals.
PIVOT BEARING REPLACEMENT
RIGHT PIVOT BEARING
Remove the snap ring.
Drive ball bearings and distance collar out of the
pivot.
Pack new bearing cavities with molybdenum disul-
fide grease.
Press the inner bearing into the pivot with the mark-
ing side facing up until it is fully seated, using the
special tools.

Pilot, 20 mm 077 46-0040500
Install the distance collar.
Press the outer bearing into the pivot with the mark-
ing side facing up until it is seated, using the spe-
cial tools.

Install the snap ring .
