FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Install the front wheel between the fork legs.

Apply thin coat of grease to the front axle.

Install the front axle.

Install the axle bolt and tighten it while holding the

TORQUE: 59 N·m (6.0 kgf.m , 43 Ibf·ft)

Tighten the right axle holder bolts.

TORQUE: 22 N·m (2.2 kgf·m , 16 Ibf·ft)

Install the brake calipers with new mounting bolts

and tighten the mounting bolts.

TORQUE: 30 N·m (3.1 kgf·m , 22 Ibf·ft)

With the front brake applied, pump the forks up and

down several times to seat the axle and check

brake operation.
