Be careful not to

Stake the clutch center lock nut into the mainshaft

mainshaft threads.

Install the spring seat and judder spring, with the

concaved side facing out, onto the clutch center.

Coat the clutch discs with clean engine oil.

Install the ten clutch discs and nine plates alter-

nately, starting with the disc.

Install the outside clutch disc tabs into the shallow

slots of the clutch outer.

Note the clutch lifter rod installation direction and

install it into the mainshaft.
