Setting a Media

Maximum Print Area

The white area shown in the following figure represents the maximum print area.
The area other than that is the dead space that cannot be printed.
• The margin at the front and rear edges of the fabric can be reduced using a guiding fabric.
For usable media, refer to P.1-23 "Usable Sizes of Media".

Notes for Setting a Media

• The roll shaft for setting the roll media is heavy, weighing 8 to 10 kg only with the shaft itself. When
setting, take care not to drop the media or the roll shaft on your foot, etc. It could cause injury due to
its heavy weight.
• This operation should be performed by 2 or more person bcause the roll is heavy in weight.
