When Using the Optional Heater MTA-
190
The optional heater MTA-190 operates together with the Tx500-1800B, automatically turning on and off when
the printer prints.
• Because the optional heater MTA-190 is a device that assists in drying, there may be times when
drying is incomplete. If the ink doesn't dry and penetrates to the back or causes stains, use an
interleaf to prevent penetration.
• When using the heater, the sheet metal around the part on which heat has been irradiated becomes
hot.Especially, the part below generates heat. Be careful about it.Do not touch the part after using the
heater.

Notes for when using the heater

Lock the casters before use.
We recommend putting 400 mm or more between the optional heater
MTA-190 and the media.
There is about 350 mm where the heater base touches the take-up
device.
