Attach the fabric winding roller
After washing belt, drops of water that could not be removed with the wiper of the washing unit may remain in
some cases.
If those drops are carried to the belt surface, it may stain the media before printing.
You can remove drops adhering to the belt by attaching the fabric winding roller in advance.
• Before shipment, the fabric winding roller had no fabric. Prepare water-absorbing fabric with the size
below:
Material : cotton sheeting, velveteen, etc. (water-absorbing fabric)

Remove the fabric winding roller.
• The fabric winding roller is located in the rear surface of
this machine and around the feeding belt roller.

Wind the fabric on the fabric winding roller.
(1) Align the roller with the fabric as indicated in the
right figure.
(2) Fix the roller and the fabric with adhesive tape.
(3) Wind the fabric on the roller and fix it with adhesive
tape.
