Turning the Power ON
• Turn the power ON after the front cover and maintenance cover are closed.

Turn on the power switch of the media feeding
part.
• Set the power switch located on the back of machine to the
"I" side.

Turn on the main power switch of the printer part.
• Set the main power switches located on the side of this
machine to the "I" side.

Push the power button.
• Push the power button located on the operation panel.
• The firmware version is displayed when the power is turned ON.
• The machine performs its initial operation.

The machine enters LOCAL.

Turn ON the power of the connected PC.
• In this machine, the power switches are independent each in the printer part and the media feeding
part.
• Normally, keep the main power switch of the printer part turning on. If the main power switch of the
printer part is left in the off-state, it may cause head nozzle clogging. There is a case which is difficult
to recover by the symptom.
