When not using this machine for more than three days
When you are not using this machine for more than three days, follow the procedure below.

Perform the operation of "When not using this machine for two days (weekends,
etc)".

Replace the waste ink tank with a new one.
• See P.4-27 "If a Waste Ink Tank Confirmation Message Appears" for more details on how to replace the
waste ink tank.
When using this machine after not having used it for a long period of time
When you have not used this machine for a long period of time and start using this machine again, follow the
procedure below.

Perform head cleaning (hard) and check the ink nozzles.
• See P.2-32 "Head Cleaning" for more details on head cleaning.

If there are some clogged nozzles, perform nozzle washing.
• See P.4-17 "Washing of Head nozzle" for more information.
