Discharge the ink from the valve of the Y-port.
• Insert the syringe into the valve of Y-port and then slowly
withdraw about 10cc of the ink.
• Be careful not to spatter the ink around during the work.
• Mask the around valves properly with the waste cloth or
adequate materials in order to protect the circuit board
that is closely placed.

Set the syringe with pressure damper to the ink
port valve.
• Insert the syringe with pressure damper into the ink port
valve and suck out ink of 5cc (at a speed of 3 sec. per cc)
slowly.
• Do not push the valve part of the syringe with pressure
damper. Otherwise, ink absorption cannot be performed.
• When discarding ink in the syringe, remove the syringe
part from the tube and then discard it. If you remove the
syringe part, ink in the tube may run down. Before
performing the work, it is recommended to cover around
it with a waste close etc. to prevent it from stained.

Discharge ink or purge air.
• The discharged ink or air is pooled in the bottle of the air purge jig.
• Discharge mixed ink or air completely. When it is discharged completely, clear ink (not mixed) is
discharged.

Perform the procedures from 5 to 7 on all ports which have to be purged the air.

Terminate air purge by pressing the
