Set adhesive power
You can change adhesive power by adjusting the pressure of the pressure roller.
Adjust adhesive power to make the status of this machine as below:
 Rough standard for setting adhesive power
(1) No lift shall be found on the media and the media edges within the carriage operating area at printing.
(2) Media shall be fixed on the belt firmly until take-up starts at printing, and once take-up starts, the belt can
be peeled off from the media smoothly.

Make the belt heater "ON". (

Start printing. (

Check the adhering status of the belt to the
media and adjust the pressure of the pressure
roller.
• When increasing the pressure of pressure roller:
Rotate the adjusting dial to the right to lower the value of
the pressure indicator.
When media floats in the carriage operation
area
• Increase the pressure of the pressure roller.
When media is apart from the belt before
take-up starts
• Increase the pressure of the pressure roller.
When media is not peeled off from the belt
smoothly even after take-up starts
• Decrease the pressure of the pressure roller.
• Do not make the value of the pressure indicator 2bar and more.
• If adhesive power cannot be improved even if you adjusted the pressure roller, adhesive has come to
the end of its life. Perform the works from the next page to peel it off and recoat new adhesive.
