STP Commands

disable stpd rapid-root-failover

disable stpd <spanning tree name> rapid-root-failover
Description
Disables rapid root failover for STP recovery times.
Syntax Description
spanning tree name
Specifies an STPD name on the switch.
Default
Disabled.
Usage Guidelines
To view the status of rapid root failover on the switch, use the
command. The
show stpd
show stpd
command displays information about the STPD configuration on the switch including the
enable/disable state for rapid root failover.
Example
The following command disables rapid root fail over on STPD Backbone_st:
disable stpd backbone_st rapid-root-failover

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 6.2.
