Conveftible Top Cloth Repair
1. The following tools and supplies are required to
repair the top cloth.
. Repair cloth
. Adhesive (Sunstar 332, or equivalent)
. Utility knife

. S a n d p a p e r
2 . A p p l y a p i e c e o f t h e r e p a i r c l o t h ( A ) t o t h e i n s i d e
surface of the top cloth at the damaged area. Cut
through both the damaged cloth (B) and the repair
c l o t h u s i n g a r u l e r ( C ) a n d a u t i l i t y k n i f e ( D ) .

Cut a piece of repair cloth (A) so it overlaps the
r e p a i r o p e n i n g a s s h o w n .

REPAIR CLOTH

Clean the repair cloth where adhesive will be
a p p l i e d .
Apply the adhesive (A) to the repair cloth (B) and
top cloth {C) as indicated by the arrows.

6 . P u s h f i r m l y o n t h e r e p a i r c l o t h .
Scrape or wipe the excess adhesive off with a soft
s h o p t o w e l d a m p e n e d w i t h a l c o h o L .
Let the adhesive dry. Follows the manufacturer's
r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s f o r d r y i n g t i m e .
