Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/
c h a r g i n g s t a t i o n ( s e e p a g e 2 1 - 5 1 ) .
R e m o v e t h e a i r c l e a n e r h o u s i n g ( s e e s t e p 5 o n p a g e
6-25).
Remove the bolts, then remove the upper mount
brackets from the radiator.

9,8 N.m {1.0 kgf.m.7.2 lbt.ft)
Remove the bolts. then disconnect the discharge
l i n e ( A ) a n d t h e c o n d e n s e r l i n e ( B ) f r o m t h e
condenser. Plug or cap the lines immediately after
disconnecting them to avoid moisture and dust
c o n r a m t n a I | o n .

5. Remove the bolts and the upper mount brackets (A),
then remove the condense. (B) by lifting it up. Be
careful not to damage the radiator or the condenser
fins when removing the condenser.

Install the condensor in the reverse order of
removal. and note these items:
. lf you're installing a new condenser, add
r e f r i g e r a n t o i l ( K E l H l N S P - 1 0 ) ( s e e p a g e 2 ' 1 - 6 ) .
. Replace the O-rings with new ones at each fitting,
and apply a thin coat of refrigerant oil before
installing them. Be sure to use the correct O-rings
f o r H F C - 1 3 4 a ( R - 1 3 4 a ) t o a v o i d l e a k a g e .
. lmmediately after using the oil, reinstall the cap
on the container, and seal it to avoid moislure
absorDtion,
. Do not spillthe refrigerant oil on the vehicle; it
may damage the paint. lf the refrigerant oil
contacts the paint, wash it off immediately.
. Be careful not to damage the radiator or the
condenser fins when installing the condenser.
. Charge the system {see page 21-53).
