rip_advertise

This interface parameter defines the networks for which the RA 6300 will
advertise routes.

Table C-29. Valid Options for the rip_advertise Parameter

Option
Description
access_spec
Uses the form [include | exclude] network_list where include
means advertise only the networks in network_list, and
exclude means advertise all networks except those in
network_list. The list can contain up to eight network
addresses.
none
Turns off advertising for the interface.
all
Advertises all networks over the interface.

rip_auth

This Annex parameter contains the password that controls authentication
for RIP 2 packets. The string size ranges from 0 to 16 characters. The
RA 6300 displays this parameter's value as "<set>" if a password is
entered or "<unset>" if a null string is entered. When "<unset>, "
authentication is turned off and all RIP packets are accepted. The default
is a null string ("").

rip_default_route

This interface parameter allows an RA 6300 to advertise that it is the
default router. Valid values are 0 through 15, or off. A value of 1 through
15 indicates the hop count that will be advertised. A value of 0 or off turns
off the advertisement. The default is off.
lists the valid options; the default is all.
