Using RA 6300 Security

Remote Annex 6300 Supplement to the Remote Annex Administrator's Guide for UNIX

If you change the name of the ACP password ﬁle, you must recompile

both erpcd and the ch_passwd utility. The source files for both are

provided with the RA 6300 software distribution and are located in the /

annex_root/src/erpcd directory. For instructions on recompiling both,

see Conﬁguring Hosts and Servers on page A-209.

Table A-42. Supported Argument for ch_passwd

–s directory

Speciﬁes the directory for the security ﬁles (acp_passwd and,

if conﬁgured, acp_shadow); defaults to the deﬁned install-

annex directory (usually /etc/annex/).
