19. Troubleshooting

19.1.Troubleshooting and Inspection

If the recorder does not operate normally or need to be repaired after following the

instructions for abnormal conditions, please contact our sales offices listed at the end of
this manual.
Problem
No power supply.
Nothing displayed
on the screen
The screen frozen
No reactions when
pushing any button
on the touch panel.
No recording
Not start recording

Possible cause
The power switch is turned off.
The power cord is not properly
connected.
The fuse is blown.
The screen is automatically
turned off.
Abnormal condition occurs in
the system.
A recording operation is in
progress in Memory mode or
Multi-recorder mode. The start
LED or the copy LED is on.
There is no recording paper.
The printer block is opened.
The temperature of
thermal head is abnormally
high. (The environment
temperature is over
degrees centigrade.)
The start trigger is on.
Recording is set as
external synchronization

The media is not formatted.
The disk space is insufficient.

Turn on the power switch
After the power switch is turned off,
connect the power cord correctly, and then
turn on the switch again.
The AC line input fuse for this unit cannot
be replaced by the customer because this
fuse is placed inside the main unit.
Please contact us if the fuse may be
blown.
