Avaya P330-ML Layer 2 CLI Commands
Example:
P330-N>help username
Username commands:
----------------------------------------------------------
Usage: username <name> password <passwd> access-type {read-
only|read-write|admin}

hostname

User level: privileged, supervisor.
Use the hostname command to change the Command Line Interface (CLI)
prompt. The current module number always appears at the end of the prompt.
Use the no hostname command to return the CLI prompt to its default.
The syntax for this command is:
[no] hostname [<hostname_string>]
hostname_string
Examples:
P330-N# hostname
Session hostname is 'P330-ML'
P330-N# hostname "gregory"
gregory-N#
gregory-N# no hostname
P330-N#
If you wish to enter a name which includes spaces, you must enclose the entire
name in quotation marks, for example "new york".

ip access-list

User level: supervisor
This command applies to the P334T-ML only when it is in device mode
"Layer2".
Use the ip access list command to create a specific policy rule. The access list

• none – displays current hostname
• string – the string to be used as the hostname (up to 20
characters).
