Chapter 3: Mount the Device You can mount the P333T-PWR in a rack. The P333T-PWR chassis fits in most standard 19-inch racks. It is 2U (3.5”, 88 mm) high. Before you Install the P333T-PWR in a Rack Disconnect all cables from the unit before proceeding with the rack installation.

This section describes the procedure for establishing switch access between a terminal and the Avaya P333T-PWR switch over the serial port provided on the front panel of the P333T-PWR (RJ-45 connector labeled “Console”). For information on the console port pin assignments, refer to the Avaya P333T-PWR User Guide.
Assigning a Stack IP Address Note: All P333T-PWR switches are shipped with the same default IP address. You must Note: change the IP address of the master switch in a stack in order to guarantee that the stack has its own unique IP address in the network.
