Swingarm Bearing Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the swingarm. Refer to "Swingarm /
Cushion Rod Removal and Installation (Page 2C-8)".
2) Remove the swingarm pivot bearings (1) using the
special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09921–20240 (Bearing remover set)

3) Remove the center spacer (2).
4) Remove the swingarm cushion rod bearings (3)
using the special tools.

Installation
CAUTION
!
The removed bearings must be replaced with
new ones.
1) Press the swingarm cushion rod bearings with the
special tool.
NOTE
When installing the bearing, stamped mark
on the bearing must face outside.
Special tool
(A): 09924–84521 (Bearing installer set)
2) Install the center spacer.
3) Press the bearings into the swingarm pivot with the
special tool.
NOTE
When installing the bearing, stamped mark
on the bearing must face outside.
Special tool
(B): 09941–34513 (Steering race installer)
4) Apply grease to the bearings.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
