1D-73 Engine Mechanical:
Oil Jet
• Fit the new O-rings (1) to each piston cooling oil jet
and apply engine oil to them.
CAUTION
!
Use the new O-rings to prevent oil pressure
leakage.
NOTE
Be sure to face the oil hole "A" of each piston
cooling oil jet to the top when installing them.

• Install each piston cooling oil jet.
NOTE
Apply a small quantity of thread lock to the
bolts and tighten them to the specified
torque.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32110
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1322 or
equivalent)
Tightening torque
Piston cooling oil jet bolt (a): 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m,
7.0 lb-ft)

• Install the oil jets (for transmission (2) and oil spray
(3)).

• Install the oil jets (for generator (4)) onto the upper
crankcase and tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Oil jet (For generator) (b): 5 N·m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.5 lb-
ft)
Transmission
• Install the transmission. Refer to "Transmission
Installation in Section 5B (Page 5B-4)".
