Note: For a host or other expansion card fitted in the host,
using or generating voltages greater than 300V (rms or
dc), advice from a competent telecommunications safety
engineer must be obtained before installation of the
relevant equipment.
The creepage distances shown apply in a normal office
environment. Where the local environment within the host chassis
is subject to conductive pollution or dry nonconductive pollution
which could become conductive due to condensation, the creepage
distances shown in parentheses will apply. The clearance and
creepage between adjacent points should be checked as follows
(refer to Figure G-1):
