Chapter 6-Additional Conferencing Information
6-2
The relationship between Video Quality (frame rate, resolution) and port
usage is summarized in following table:

The maximum resolution and frame rate that can be supported by the
MCU is set by a system flag, MAX_CP_RESOLUTION.
Video Display with SD and CIF video Connections
Although any combination of CIF and SD connections is supported in all
CP conferences, the following rules apply:
In a 1X1 layout, if the speaker transmits CIF, the MCU will send CIF
to all participants, including the SD participants. In any other layout
the MCU will transmit to each participant at the participant's sending
resolution.
In asymmetrical layouts, a participant in the large frame that sends
CIF is displayed in CIF.
In panoramic layouts, participants that send CIF also receive CIF.
SD with specialized features
H.239 is supported in SD. The video bit rate is decreased according to
the content allocation settings when an endpoint starts a content
session. This may result in a lower frame rate.
For more information, see "H.239" on page 6-7.
Encryption and FECC are supported in SD.
Lecture Mode is supported in SD.
