The basic principles of the Simrad SX90 Fish finding sonar are
unique because of the 256 separate transmitter and receiver
channels with their transducer elements spread around on the
cylindrical transducer array.
The transmission, reception and data processing are under
computer control, and the powerful capabilities of the sonar are
the results of sophisticated digital signal processing software
and state of the art hardware.
