In the Motor Control Unit, set the hoist/lower switch
to LOWER.
• If the switch
hoist operation may occur when the switch pass the
HOIST position. To avoid this, use the following
procedure:

Locate the motor protecting switch

Release
to position OFF.

Observe that the transducer array is lowered down.
• The hoist/lower motor will automatically stop when the
transducer shaft reaches the lower limit switch.
• If necessary, the lowering can easily be stopped in any
position by setting the switch
When the transducer shaft has been lowered to the requested

position, set the mode selector switch
Hoisting procedure
Observe the following procedure to hoist the transducer array.

Observe that the transducer array is hoisted.
• The hoist/lower motor will automatically stop when the
transducer shaft reaches the upper limit switch.
• If necessary, the hoisting can easily be stopped in any
position by setting the switch
When the transducer shaft has been hoisted to the requested

position, set the mode selector switch
Manual lowering and hoisting using the hand crank
If the normal hoist/lower operation does not work, and the
3-phase voltage for the hoist/lower motor is unavailable
(indicators
is not illuminated), the transducer can be hoisted
L1
or lowered manually by means of the hand crank.
Procedure

Locate the motor overload switch
