CHAPTER 2 INSTALLATION

Built-in SMDR (MP)

Built-in SMDR (MP)
The MP card provides a S-10 interface port for SMDR/MCI.
No.0/No. 1 Port : Async.: 1200/2400/4800/9600/19200 bps
• Direct connection
Connect the SMDR terminal and/or the VMS to the RS 0-RS 1port of the PN-CP14/
PN-CP20 card using the RS RVS-15 (S) CA-A/RS RVS-4 (S) CA-A/RS RVS-4 (S) CA-C as
shown below.

• Connection via MODEM
When the cable length between the PBX and the terminal is more than 15 m (49.2 ft.),
connect the SMDR terminal to the RS0 Port of the PN-CP14 card through the MODEMs
using the RS NORM-4 (S) CA-A as shown below.
