MSEsetup configuration
System Configuration
A system configuration file can be saved as a backup or for saving multiple system
configurations. System configurations can also be restored to factory default
settings. The default system configuration file is SystemConfig.xml.
Save system configuration
To save a system configuration file:
Click the Save As button under the SystemConfig.xml column.
The file dialog window opens.
Use the File dialog window controls to select a location to save the
configuration file.
Enter a file name into the File name text box.
Click the OK button.
The configuration file is saved to the selected location.
Load system configuration
To load a system configuration file:
Click the Load button under the SystemConfig.xml column.
The file dialog window opens.
Use the File dialog window controls to select a configuration file to load.
Click the OK button.
A dialog window appears stating that MSEsetup will restart. A message verifying
the action is displayed in the message area.
Click the OK button.
A dialog window appears requesting to back up the log file. Choose whether to
back up the file and follow any additional on screen instructions. Once complete
MSEsetup will restart.
Restore system configuration
To restore the system configuration:
Click the Restore Defaults button.
A dialog window appears requesting confirmation to restore the system
configuration file. A message verifying the action is displayed in the message area.
Click the OK button.
A dialog window appears stating that MSEsetup will restart.
Click the OK button.
A dialog window appears requesting to back up the log file. Choose whether to
back up the file and follow any additional on screen instructions. Once complete
MSEsetup will restart.
