Cause
An error occurred while com-
municating to a module. MSE-
setup will retry 5 times before
the
Lost communication to
the MSE 1000
error will occur.
More than one module has the
same IP address.
Clearing the error will cause the
error to go away but any result-
ing module chain will not be us-
able until the problem is cor-
rected.
A Query failed.
A Communication error and the
IP address of the module will
displayed.
A Broadcast failed.
Application errors
Corrective action
Error recovery is only
needed if the
Lost
communication to the
MSE 1000
error occurs.
Refer to this error above.
DHCP addressing:
Restore factory defaults.
Static addressing:
Uninstall one of the
modules with the duplicate
IP address from the module
chain.
Change the IP address
of the other module to a
unique value.
Reinstall the removed
module.
Power cycle the module
chain, see "Power cycling",
page 48.
Perform a Broadcast.

netmask.
