Error
The modules failed to be set
The image chosen for program-
ming is invalid
The checksum failed
The bootloader and firmware
cannot be updated while using
DHCP
All modules are already the de-
sired version

The IP addresses could not be
set because of duplicates

Cause
Use DHCP Addressing failed.
An invalid file was selected
to program the bootloader or
firmware.
The MSEbootloader.dat or
MSEfirmware.dat file has be-
come corrupted.
The MSEbootloader.dat or
MSEfirmware.dat failed to pro-
gram since the module is in
DHCP mode.
Programming the firmware for
All modules failed because the
firmware version is the same.
Modules can be programmed
individually without a check for
the version.
An invalid password has been
entered for Supervisor mode.
The Use Static Addressing but-
ton in the networking screen
failed to set the modules to
their static IP addresses be-
cause there are duplicates.

Corrective action
Power cycle the module
chain, see "Power cycling",
page 48.
Perform a Reconnect or
Broadcast.
Set the module chain to Use
DHCP Addressing.
Select a valid
MSEbootloader.dat or
MSEfirmware.dat file.
Select a valid
MSEbootloader.dat or
MSEfirmware.dat file.
Set the chain to static IP
addressing and retry.
Program modules
individually.
Enter the correct password.
Perform a broadcast and
then allow the DHCP
addresses to be set as
static IP addresses when
prompted.

Set the static IP addresses
individually using the
Set Static button in the
networking screen.
