Connecting
the Printheads
Note!
Savecaps in case you need to transport
the printer later (see Appendix A.2).

. Open the white plastic cover in the PHS unit and remove the

transportation connectors. Save the connectors for later use.
Caution! The transportation connectors may contain a small
amount of ink.
. Remove the polyethylene bag, the tag, and the rubber caps from

the head connectors. Insert the head connectors into the tube
station and connect.
Caution!
If the metal plate of the head connector is caught under the head
connector cover, ink will leak out of the tube station.
