Precautions to
Observe with
Windows
Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
The following restrictions may apply to features of the graphics
device interface (GDI) of Microsoft Windows, version 3.1, when
you use the Windows Driver.
Pen
The printer driver does not support specifications for line type and
line width for lines and curves, only single-pixel-width solid lines.
Thus, single-pixel-width solid lines will be printed even if a
different line type or line width is specified in the application.
Brush
• <Style> may be one of the following four types:
- Hatched brush (6 types)
- No fill
- Pattern may be converted to a memory bitmap, depending on
the application.
- Solid brush
• The following restriction apply to <Colour>:
Hatched brush:
- Pattern = 256 levels when monochrome is selected.
- Pattern = 64 64 64 levels when colour is selected.
- Random = 256 levels when black and white is selected.
- Random = 256 256 256 levels when colour is selected.
Fill:
- Colour specification is ignored.
Pattern:
- Does not allow specification of colour.
Solid brush:
- Pattern = 256 levels when monochrome is selected.
- Pattern = 64 64 64 levels when colour is selected.
- Random = 256 levels when black and white is selected.
- Random = 256 256 256 levels when colour is selected.
• <Hatch> may be one of the following six types:
- 45 rising-left-to-right hatchmark pattern.
- Horizontal/vertical crossed hatchmark pattern.
- 45 crossed hatchmark pattern.
- 45 falling-left-to-right hatchmark pattern.
- Horizontal hatchmark pattern.
- Vertical hatchmark pattern.
