If the green lever is not depressed as
described in paragraph 5, the ink may
spout of the tube station.

. Gently close the PHS unit, and close the front cover.

. Remove the tape from the shipping cover at the back of the main

unit. Remove the sub cover while depressing the clip, and push
the green lever down. After confirming the position of the
green lever, reattach the sub cover.
. Remove the two M4 screws that hold the PHS cover and remove

the PHS cover.
Remove the pad (w tag), which is taped inside the PHS unit.
