Paper Type
Setup
Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
Up to five sets of specifications can be recorded for the print paper
(Paper Type 1 – 5). For each type, use the following procedure to
set top-of-form detection, paper size, label gap, and mark/hole
width. Paper type selecting in the printer driver of a PC overrides the
settings described in this chaper.
Caution:
Turning the printer off without first saving the settings will cause
settings to be deleted, see chapter 4.14.
. When "READY" is displayed on the display panel, press the

<On line> key.
OFF LINE
. Press the <Menu> key.

PAPER TYPE
. Press the <Cursor right> key four (4) times.

MAINTENANCE
. Press the <Enter> key once.

TEST PRINT
. Press the <Cursor right> key five (5) times.

PAPER TYPE SET.
. Press the <Enter> key.

. Use the <Cursor right> key to display the paper type (Paper

Type 1 – Type 5) that will store the specifications to be entered,
then press the <Enter> key.
TOP OF FORM SEL.
Starting from the "TOP OF FORM SEL." menu, use the following
procedures to set:
• Top of form, as described in chapter 9.3
• Paper Width and Length, as described in chapter 9.4
• Label gap, as described in chapter 9.5
• Marker width, as described in chapter 9.6
To select a new paper type without making any changes, press the
<Menu> key repeatedly until the "OFF LINE" menu appears.
