. Put back the front roll retainer on the take-up shaft as close to the

paper roll as possible. Align the fixing screw with the grooves on
the take up shaft and tighten the fixing screw.

. Untighten the fixing screw on the front paper guide and pull out

the guide as far as it goes.
. Pull out the paper, pass it over the paper arm, and thread it

between the front and inner paper guides. Rewind the paper to
take up all excessive slack, that could interfere with the roll
cover.
