10.2 Print Mode

Intermec ColorCoder V4 – Installation & Operation Ed. 1
Chapter 10
By default, the ColorCoder V4 is set for maximum speed (150 mm/
sec.). Use this option to print identical labels.
In some cases when printing variable data (a subject not covered in
this manual), the printer may stop between labels. You could
achieve a continuous flow of labels by lowering the print speed,
thereby also increasing the total throughput.
There are four options:
• Mode (A) Auto
• Mode (B) 150
• Mode (C) 100
• Mode (D) 50
. If "READY" is displayed on the display panel, press the <On

line> key.
OFF LINE
. Press the <Menu> key.

PAPER TYPE
. Press the <Cursor right> key four (4) times.

MAINTENANCE
. Press the <Enter> key.

TEST PRINT
. Press the <Cursor right> key once.

PRINT MODE SET.
. Press the <Enter> key.

MODE (A) AUTO.
. Press the <Cursor right> key repeatedly until the desired option

is displayed, e.g.:
MODE (C) 100
. Press the <Enter> key to acknowledge.

PRINT MODE SET.
. Press the <Menu> key repeatedly to return to the "OFF LINE"

menu.
Advanced Printer Settings
Printer selects print speed automatically
Print speed 150 mm/sec. ( 6"/sec). Default
Print speed 100 mm/sec. ( 4"/sec).
Print speed 50 mm/sec. ( 2"/sec).
